Unique AI Raises $30 Million in Series A Funding to Expand Its Platform for Financial Firms

Unique, a leading provider of specialized AI solutions for financial firms, has successfully closed its Series A funding round, securing $30 million. This brings the company’s total investment since its founding in 2021 to $53 million.
The funding round was led by Commer Ventures and DN Capital, with continued support from seed investors such as VI Partners and Pictet Group.
Innovative AI Platform with Strong Industry Demand
Unique’s platform will integrate advanced agentic AI into financial services, improving back and middle-office operations. The platform offers over 25 specialized “off the shelf” use cases and customized AI agents, ensuring seamless integration into existing financial systems. With a focus on data security and regulatory compliance, Unique’s solutions enhance performance and accuracy, especially in data processing and requests.

Operational Success
Major financial players, including Pictet Group, UBP, LGT Private Banking, and SIX, are already using the company's platform. Notably, Pictet Group, which offers the platform to 6,000 employees, reports efficiency gains of up to two hours per week per person. The platform streamlines tasks like filtering investment products while maintaining human relationship managers as the core of client interactions.

Expansion Plans
In addition to the funding, Unique is expanding its leadership team with the appointment of Dana Ritter as Chief Product Officer, effective April 2025. Ritter previously led major initiatives at Google DeepMind, including the launch of the Gemini project on Android.
